We don’t – we are the only company that has retrofitted its entire fleet with Seat Belts.
100% Background Checks: Other companies’ background checks are only 70% complete.
That is flat out dangerous! This is because they rely on the National database which is incomplete since many cities and towns do not submit information to the National Database, the military reporting is significantly delayed and tribal governments do not report at all. We perform comprehensive Background Checks that search records at the county level as well as the national level.
Covid Clean Care: We have provided over 5,000 trips since March 2020 with zero Covid-related incidents.

It is our goal to provide safe and efficient transportation for our passengers while also protecting our employees and the public. In response to COVID-19, we enhanced our cleaning procedures including the use of electrostatic sprayers and UV light wands.
Virginia Green Certified: As a mega car pool and ride sharing organization, we reduce energy and emissions.
We accomplish this by removing vehicles from the road. Our large engines have been upgraded to CLEAN Burning Diesel. We utilize Geothermal Heating and AC at our headquarters in Richmond. We recycle and dispose of waste properly. JRT actually is carbon NEGATIVE, resulting in over 10,000 tons of carbon CREDITs each year.
$10 Million Insurance Coverage: Our excellent safety record makes this higher level of coverage affordable for us.
So we make this available to you. The Federal requirement is for a minimum of $5 million of coverage, which is what most companies carry due to the expense they would incur in moving up to our level of coverage.
Sleep Apnea Program: Over 28% of commercial drivers have Sleep Apnea that is not treated!
Falling asleep at the wheel is a common cause of crashes and our program ensures our drivers stay healthy and safe. We are the only company that has a comprehensive Sleep Apnea screening and treatment program.
Driving Simulator: We use our driving simulator to teach things like crash avoidance, driving in poor weather conditions, and reacting to equipment failures.
No other company offers its drivers the ability to practice these scenarios in a realistic simulation, similar to training that pilots receive.
On-board Technology: We utilize Artificial Intelligence and Video Cameras.
This technology allows us to monitor driver performance, traffic conditions and other vehicles to instantly alert us if any safety issues are detected. We also use advanced technology to monitor the vehicle mechanical condition and location in real time to ensure its safe operation.
