Carey Transportation’s Airport Connection service at the Norfolk International Airport had a record month in May. Business was up 33% over last May and the year to date figures are up 15% from 2008.
The company’s president, Stephen W. Story, noted that “these results are exceptional, especially given the state of the economy in general and the transportation industry specifically”. “We continue to buck the trend in the industry and I attribute that to our excellent Airport Connection staff and their dedication to outstanding customer service”. “Once people experience the overall quality of our service they readily become repeat customers”, he said.
The Airport Connection service, located just outside of Baggage Claim, offers the convenience of door-to-door service between the Norfolk Airport and any location. Customers are able to make advance reservations or walk up purchases 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. In addition, corporate accounts, travel agent programs, and voucher systems are available.
